Torch holder for Universal Robots for welding and cutting. The torch holder is designed so that the tool TCP lies exactly at the intersection of the last axis of the Universal Robots UR3, UR5, UR10 (CB series or e series). This makes programming easier, especially for robot movements in the 5th and 6th axes (position of the torch in relation to the component). In order to guarantee this, OH-au2mate needs to adapt to different torch types free of charge. If the function is not required, any torch with the respective diameter can be fitted.
The torch holder is equipped with a push-button as standard, which is connected to the tool connection of the Universal Robot. This button can be assigned various functions. It is intended for gripping the robot by the torch holder and activating the Freedrive via the button. The robot arm can then be comfortably guided to the desired position with both hands without having to press the Freedrive button on the teach panel. One of the optional accessories we offer is a manual quick-change torch system. This makes it possible to change the robot tool quickly and precisely without changing the TCP. This is particularly helpful for applications in which the robot has to perform different tasks.
