Torch holder for Universal Robots for welding and cutting. The torch holder is designed so that the tool TCP is exactly in the intersection of the last axis of the Universal Robots UR3, UR5, UR10 (CB-series or e-series). This makes programming easier, especially when the robot moves in the 5th and 6th axis (position of the torch to the part). To guarantee this, a free adaptation to different torch types by OH-au2mate is necessary. If the function is not desired, any torch with the respective diameter can be mounted.
The torch holder is standard equipped with a push button which is connected to the tool connector of the Universal Robot. This button can be assigned with different functions. It is intended to grip the robot at the torch holder and activate the Freedrive via the button. Afterwards, the robot arm can be moved comfortably with both hands very precisely to the desired position without having to operate the Freedrive button on the teach panel. As optional accessories we offer among others a manual torch quick-change system. This offers the possibility to exchange the robot tool quickly and precisely without TCP changes. This is especially helpful for applications in which the robot is to take over different tasks.
