One of the biggest challenges in robotic sanding is achieving precise contact pressure on the surface. This is the deciding factor throughout the entire process, regardless of the surface shape and orientation.
The EFC-02 Active Compliance System is fully electrically operated by a servomotor. This enables constant monitoring of force and acceleration during processing by high-frequency measurements. The control algorithm dynamically and automatically adjusts the contact pressure to the grinding process. The result is a consistently high surface quality.
