One or more additional axes for collaborative robots from Universal Robots. To extend the reach of the Universal Robots UR3, UR5, UR10, OH-au2mate offers a modular linear axis concept which can be delivered with a standard length of 2m to 12m. All required connections are included and easy to integrate. The supplied URCap for your robot (CB series or e series) automatically integrates the axes into the control system and enables simple programming via the UR control panel. The axis has a higher load capacity to carry additional equipment. Laser light barriers or scanners must be installed to ensure the safety of these systems. The positioning axis can be used for many applications, e.g. for welding, cutting, handling or loading one or more machines. The additional linearWD axis moves the robot at a speed of up to 1000 mm/s. The repeat accuracy of the axis is +- 0.1mm.
6 Special construction
Linear axes extend the spatial coverage of an application by adding a seventh or more axes of movement to a robot. The modular system adapts flexibly to the area of application and can be easily expanded. The robust design increases system availability and is capable of carrying heavy loads with high dynamics.
